You can make a difference and you absolutely should

Put your money where your mouth is, folks.

Making a difference is hard sometimes. It's easy to get discouraged and give up before you start because you can't see how something so small as a word of encouragement or $5 or a vote or a smile (or any seemingly small thing) can have such a ripple effect. I'm telling you with 100% certainty that it has everything to do with the intent you place behind it as to whether or not it makes a difference.

You can make a difference and you absolutely should.

I've been the recipient of many an act of kindness that has, in many cases, turned around my day and/or set in motion a sequence of events that DID make a difference to someone, somewhere.

For those of you who have not spoken with DK or I one on one about Platform and WHY we're doing this, please do not misunderstand. This is not for us. This is not a coffee shop. This is a means of grace- not for us or by us, but simply the start of many "small things that do not make a difference".

Do we actually believe we can bring people in this community together? Yes. It's already happening through the outpouring of love and support we have received. Do we really think it's possible to provide education and resources to people to provide them with SUSTAINABLE water sources in every single community in need across the world. Just us? Nope. But we can definitely start a ripple and it absolutely CAN (see also: WILL) end clean water deprivation world wide. #dontbelievemejustwatch
