Introducing, the Tenacious Tasker
Conquering your task lists with all the tenacity of a dandelion you can't get rid of
(((but, why would you WANT to?)))

What We Offer
I'm kind of like your best friend who lives next door if your best friend was also your personal assistant who does all the random things you HAVE to do in order to keep life running smoothly, but that you secretly hate doing.

Ever heard of sites like TaskRabbit? Yeah, I'm kind of like that! I can wash and fold your laundry, change out your AC filters, drop off your dry cleaning, help you plan your weekly meal menu, put away your groceries and wash your fruits & veggies, research travel plans, manage your calendar, organize your email inbox, and so much more! These are just a few of the things I've done for clients in the past, but I am open to just about anything within my skillset.
How does this work?
What Sets Us Apart
Listen friend, I know you're busy! You're juggling work and kids and then you're still supposed to find time for laundry in between dinner & football practice? Oh, and you have to get 8 hours of sleep & make sure you still look presentable after your commute and someone shop for and plan healthy meals for your family? And you need a vacation, but when exactly are you supposed to make time to PLAN that vacation? Before or after you check your email & pay your bills?

What if... you had someone in your corner who could take some of those little tasks off your plate so you have more time to be truly PRESENT with your family at the end of the work day? What if you could come home to empty laundry hampers with neatly folded and hung outfits, a refrigerator full of nutritious food & a recipe that takes you less than 30 minutes to prepare?
That's the kind of freedom I'm offering! And hey, I'm a working mom too, and I probably live right around the corner from you. Our kids might go to school or play sports together. I'm also a budgeting consultant. So what I'm *not* trying to do is take advantage of my neighbor or get rich off of this business. I'm just a multi-passionate entrepreneur with a flexible schedule who wants to pour into her community by lessening the burden on people who are where she has been while making some extra cash in the process. Why is that important? Because yes, I absolutely do expect to be paid for my labor, AND, I am also incredibly reasonable with my rates because I only take on tasks that I can easily do in conjunction with the rest of my business schedule, so I am able to charge less by:
1) Working *with* my schedule and
2) Cutting out the middle man - When you go straight through me for your task management, you avoid paying platform fees and the big guy's cut.
Consider me your neighbor you call on when you remember to schedule someone to walk the dog on your way out of town - as long as I have the availability, I've got you! No extra charge.

What is your service area?
For In-Person Tasks, you must either live in Hampton, GA, within a 10 minute drive of Welcome Home Creamery -OR- along this route for tasks that can be done on Tuesdays & Thursdays:

What is the investment?
Another great question! The short answer is that it depends on your needs, but we all hate it when pricing isn't listed on a website, so:

The minimum cost for any ONE task is $25. In general, I will charge $20-30 per hour spent on a task, depending on the skillset involved, so your best bet is to think of a handful of things I could help with and group them all together because if it only takes me 20 minutes, I still charge $25.

In example: You hire me to plan your weekly dinner menu, shop for the groceries needed, have them delivered to your home, unload the groceries, wash the fruits & veggies, and pre-portion snacks and you live about 10 minutes from me, here is what you might pay (this is an estimate made based on certain assumptions, like there not being any special dietary restrictions and I can pull from my library of recipes with very little research):

Menu planning for 5 days - 30 minutes
Grocery delivery order & scheduling - 30 minutes
Drive to your house - 10 minutes
Grocery unload - 10 minutes
Fruit & veggies wash - 10 minutes
Fruit cut/portion - 10 minutes
Snack portioning - 10 minutes
Drive from your house - 10 minutes

These are all "simple" tasks, so I would charge $20/hour, so you would pay $40 for 2 hours. (You obviously pay for your groceries! I have a Kroger Boost account, so delivery is free if you shop with them.)

If you just wanted me to order your groceries based on a list you send me & be there to put them away for you while you're at work, that puts us right at 1 hour and you would pay the minimum $25 fee, so you may decide you *do* want to pay that extra $15.
When are you available?
In general, I have availability Monday-Friday from 8am-3pm, with some rare exceptions for nights & weekends - feel free to ASK if your needs fall outside of these parameters!
How do we get started?
An email is a great place to start! Then, we can have a conversation there, via text or over the phone to talk about specifics and pricing.

You can email me at hi@shannonmariekill.com to get started. You will not be charged for anything until we come to an agreement about what you need help with and how much that will cost.

The key to this being a successful relationship is mutual benefit, so I want to make sure we come up with a plan that works for BOTH of us! As long I have the capacity, I can get started the very next day.
Meet Your Friendly Neighborhood Number Nerd!
Oh hey there new friend!
Hi! I'm Shannon Kill.

(Yes that's my actual last
name. I'm really quite nice, I swear, and I am
THRILLED you are here)
If you've landed here, you probably already know me, either from my business SMK Consulting, or because we're neighbors or acquaintances or maybe I've even done your laundry for you through my partnership with Poplin. In any case, I'm so glad you made it!
So hi, I'm Shannon, the Tenacious Tasker! I started this project as a way to make money while pouring into my community WITHOUT having to sacrifice time with my family. You're probably like me - juggling what feels like a million different things at all times and sometimes (a lot of times), it can feel like "I've had enough. Where do I return my 'adult' card?", but we don't get to actually do that.

For a while now, I and a lot of my friends have been feeling the heaviness of it all and then one day, it hit me - we're living on islands trying our best to survive out here all alone when we were never meant to do it all ourselves, but what if we didn't have to do it alone?

I started the Tenacious Tasker as a way to lighten the loads of others in my local community while easing a personal burden of mine that most of us have - in order to survive, we have to make money. Now, I have another business that I run and I am a wife and a mother and this house doesn't clean itself, so I'm busy too and my time is important, but what I am *NOT* trying to do here is get rich off this thing, so my commitment to you if that I will always be fair and reasonable with my pricing and I will handle all your tasks with the same care and dedication I would for my own family because I *truly* believe that if we're going to get through this life thing, we're gonna need each other.

I hope you'll trust me to help you out when you need it. 🖤
