I don’t care that we haven’t eaten turkey yet; I’m a vegetarian now 😹

Why are people so mad at things that make other people feel pure joy?

I drink out of Christmas mugs literally all year.

We start listening to Christmas music November One every year.

The world is no more or less troubled than it ever has been, we’re just more aware of it now.

The older you get, the more you know you don’t know and the scarier the world can look, so what’s wrong with rushing the season that makes a lot of people be a lot nicer?

Why not usher in the season when people give a little more freely?

I realize I live in rose colored glasses.

I’m an empath who suffers with anxiety and depression.

I see too much.

I feel too much.

The only option I have to not get sucked in to those deep dark places that I fear I may never come out of every time I’m there is to focus HARD on the light.

So I’ll just be over here sippin' my tea through a straw and commenting on all the photos of people who have embraced their desires to put up their tree “early” with all the hand clap emojis and #mindyabusiness🐸☕️ because there’s a lot of light on some of those trees 🤷🏼‍♀️ #goodmomskeeptrying
